Even though the elderly woman died by being run over by a car. Arnab reports the case with a local police inspector Santilal Mukherjee as an attempt to suicide. Rukhsana also killed morgue helper who had a fight with Arnab. She eventually succeeds to get pregnant by him but after her pregnancy her perspective changes. She pressures Arnab to stop meeting Piyali, on further dispute, she catches by his throat and lifts him off the ground.
