Share your experience Let job seekers know what it's like to work at your company. I learned how to keep up with customers and how to handle money transactions quickly here at the Tastee Freeze. I learned customer service and how to keep an inventory stocked. Management was easy to deal with and I never had a problem with them.
The hardest part of the job was the long lines that seemed never ending but I loved meeting all the interesting people along the way. The most enjoyable part of the job was all the friends I made via co-workers and customers. A typical day of work was making snowballs and other assorted carnival foods. We took the trailer to many sporting and local events. The work speed was fast but I easily managed to keep up with it. Pros Free snowballs and free food!
Tastee Freez was my first job, my sister and mom also worked it. I had many friends that also worked here. We all went to highschool together and got to work together which made it really fun. Unfortunantly the store closed. A great place to work if you are a college student. This job is located right across from the beach and is always a great time at work. Fun and fast paste. Co workers became friends. And the manager was awesome!
I had fun with my employees. They helped out alot. Manager was very patient. Easy rules to follow. Very important to do what your told when you need to do it. So the company will run smoothly. Pros Free lunch. Cons Fast paste.. We want to help you find great companies. Help us be the best! If you need a job I would recommend tastee freeze. It's a clean but hot environment. You have to be able to multitask and move at a quick pace.
This was a temporary job so I didn't work there long before I needed a higher paying job. Life sped up for me so in order to keep up I needed a new job.
But not a bad place to work, temporarily. Amazing Manager. Very friendly work place. This was my very first job and it was amazing. I was treated fairly and did well at my job. The manager was very knowledgeable about the job and the way she wanted things done. This is a fast food and ice cream restaurant in Mount Carmel, IL it is usually not to busy. This is a great job for teenagers who do not need high pay, and no benefits.
Family owned establishment. Not a good first job. Overworked and underpaid. People were very rude and unwilling to assist or teach you anything. That's all. Very fun place to work due to the customers and the people I worked with. I loved working here. I loved the people I worked with and the customers that came in. I learned how to use a cash register and to count money better, work a drive thru, and I learned better people skills.
My manager at the time was very nice to work for. I loved the work place. So many memories and good times there. The hardest part of the job was dealing with customers who just wanted to start problems. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with my coworkers. Great friendly caring people.
Fund memories of holidays and serving customers. Good first job experience providing on site training for new employees. Works with your schedule well. Very relaxed guidelines and drawn back workplace. Pros One free meal and one free ice cream. Cons Lack of benefits.
Probably one of the best starting jobs I could have had. My co workers were really cool too. Pros Free lunch. Cons None. Productive and fun place to work with great co workers. I love working there. I just want to do better. It's a great job for someone that's still in school but not if you want to make more than 8 dollar an hour.
Pros Vacation days. Cons No breaks, and no benefits. Yes There are 1 helpful reviews 1 No. It is a nice place of work. Also wish we had a higher salary. Cons Short breaks. Leave a review. Help people like you. Usually only one cook with high work load for minimum wage. Just a teenagers job and nothing more. Oh and you get to cut your self a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros Fun. Cons Wage. Yes There are 1 helpful reviews 1 No There are 1 unhelpful reviews 1.
Pros easy, fun work. Cons no oppertunities or benifits. I enjoyed working here and spent many years here. My boss was amazing, and I got along well with my co-workers. The hardest part of this job was the pay and the hours we worked.
All of us made under minimum wage and many of us worked overtime. The company did not pay you time and a half for overtime work, and we very rarely received tips from the customers. However, In the long run my paychecks weren't bad.
I learned basic cash register functions, great customer service skills, how to prepare food and ice cream novelties, and learned how to multitask. The customers here were always really nice, I do miss working here. Pay is not great at all. All employees are pretty close. Food is good. Great friendly atmosphere. Easy going, well to get along with Co-workers. The customer's were always so nice adn respectful. Pros half off lunches, no stress.
